Alexandra trains at the Rafael Nadal academy in Spain under coach Adrian Alexis Vase and is already a star in the Philippines.

“She could be the Manny Pacquiao of tennis. There’s been a lot of excitement around her at home and she certainly deserves it.” said Cecil Memiita former professional player from the Philippines who is now a coach on the WTA tour.

Roland Garros junior singles champion Havlichkova won the US Open doubles after teaming up with Diana Schneider over Germany’s Karolina Kuhl and Ella Seidel 6-3 6-2.

In the juniors, the winner was 16-year-old Spaniard Martin Landalus, who defeated Belgian Gilles Baie 7-6(3) 5-7 6-2.

In the junior doubles, Americans Ozan Baris and Nishesh Basavereddi beat Juan Carlos Prado Angelo from Bolivia and Dylan Dietrich from Switzerland with a score of 6-1, 6-1, writes News.ro.
