An additional six beds have been created for newborns who will no longer need to be transferred to another hospital, as they will be cared for there.

The organization organizes a big charity concert on Tuesday, September 13, at 21.00 in Herodeion, in order to raise funds for the provision of incubators at Attikon. Jazz at Lincoln Center, one of the best jazz orchestras in the world, will perform with artistic director Wynton Marsalis, which, in addition to its headquarters in New York, gives concerts around the world. Marsalis’ goal back in the late 1980s was to spread jazz music and attract new talent – in interpretation and composition – who would continue to follow in the footsteps of the greats of the genre.

In Greece, the evening will be called “The Songs We Love” and it’s a nostalgic journey through the history of jazz, from the first blues and jazz songs of the 1920s to the big hits of the 1950s and 1960s. hear compositions by George Gershwin and Duke Ellington and great songs from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland…Three great female voices of the contemporary American jazz scene, Grammy nominee Katherine Russell, Brianna Thomas and Chanel Jones accompanied by great musicians from JALC. Lifeline was founded by Princess Catherine of Serbia in 1993 in London and subsequently expanded to Athens (in 2002), Chicago, New York and Toronto in collaboration with the foundation that bears her name in Belgrade. During that difficult period of time for Serbia, he did a lot of humanitarian work in a country devastated by civil war.
