For several days now, motorists can finally take advantage of a 30-cent discount on fuel. The move was obviously eagerly awaited, even though petrol and diesel prices have risen sharply in recent months, sometimes easily exceeding the two-euro mark. A situation that is then unacceptable for many drivers, both professional and private. So much so that some were forced to cancel their vacations or cut back on their daily commutes. Therefore, it is not surprising that the stations were stormed for several days when prices fell sharply thanks to the government discount.
Because of the 30-cent discount on fuel, there are shortages at many service stations. https://t.co/SzgziQKxfm

Changing the region
But some motorists who live in particular in Ile de France want to achieve even greater savings. As our colleagues at BFM TV reported, some are not shy about going a few extra kilometers to go to a nearby area to take advantage of more attractive prices. This trend was noticed by some cashiers, especially in Ayr and Loire. Many Parisians then go there to save a few extra cents. The difference really can be no less than twenty cents, which obviously significantly affects the overall price of the tank.

temporary help
As a reminder, this small increase from the government was implemented on September 1 and will be officially extended until October 31. After that date, the discount will be reduced to 10 cents before disappearing at the end of the year. Ditto for this one TotalEnergies, which is currently listed at 20 cents and will also drop to 10 cents in a few weeks. Meanwhile, the service station is stormed by motorists.
