
Betting on electrification, Jeep aims to become the first brand of electrified SUVs in the world: the American manufacturer revealed during the presentation of its plan for cars of the new generation 4xedetails of several of its upcoming models, including the all-new the Jeep Recon.
By 2025, there will be no fewer of them four 100% electric SUVs that Jeep will launch in North America and Europe. Specifically, 50% of Jeep sales in the United States will be 100% electric, while 100% of the brand’s sales in Europe will be 100% electric by 2030.
Jeep Recon: 100% electric SUV
If its looks resemble a Wrangler, the Jeep Recon was designed from the ground up to be 100% electric car. It will be aimed at outdoor adventurers, offering a reliable, quiet vehicle with zero emissions:

Jeep Recon: real crossing capabilities
To offer real crossing capabilities, the Jeep Recon will be equipped with a traction control system christened Jeep Selec-Terrain. There will also be equipment for axle electric locking (e-locker), bottom protection, towing hooks and special off-road tires.
Like any real Jeep, the Recon will also be found thanks to a hatch one touch, and will have removable doors and glass. And like any modern Jeep, it will also have a lot of technology like the latest opus Uconnect systemwhich will include a detailed guide to the world’s most outstanding off-road trails.
Jeep Recon: production will start in 2024
Officially unveiled to the public next year, the upcoming Jeep Recon aims to become a global model. However, it will first be launched in the US: the first reservations will open in early 2023, and production will begin in 2024 in North America.
The Jeep Recon will then be sold in other markets around the world, so it will appear later in Europe : we may see it launch in our regions during 2024.
