
Ferrari single-seaters dominated Friday’s first free practice ahead of the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, the 16th round of the Formula One World Championship.

Charles Leclerc finished first in the first session (1:22.410) and third in the second (1:21.857).
Carlos Sainz was second in the first session and set the best time in the second session (1:21.664), overtaking Max Verstappen (Red Bull / +0.143).
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) finished 4th and 7th, but will start last on the grid in Sunday’s race (he was penalized for the car’s new engine change).
