Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayem said that Ukraine offered Poland a solution to the border problem: “Increasing the number of Polish customs officers could significantly improve the situation.”
In addition, Ukraine proposed to cancel the control of trucks transporting rapeseed for the production of biofuel in transit through Poland,” he said.
To improve the situation on the border with Poland, Ukraine is ready to open 3 more checkpoints, the Ukrainian official added.
The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Kubrakov expressed hope that the upcoming meeting of the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Poland will normalize the situation on the border.
