
In October 2021, Taiwanese giant Foxconn unveiled a Pininfarina-signed concept car, announcing the Foxtron Model C, its first electric vehicle on the new MIH Open platform. Even before this one goes into production, it has already been rejected here Luxgena brand of Yulon Motor Group, Taiwan’s largest automaker.
This one is new Luxgen n7 actually based on Foxtron Model Cbut has a few differences that set it apart from its cousin, such as new headlights, a redesigned fender, new rims and even more conventional door handles.
Luxgen n7: range of 700 km
The Luxgen n7 will have more or less the same specifications as the Foxtron Model C, with its length of 4.64 meters and a wheelbase of 2.86 meters. It can also offer up to seven seats on board, all in three rows of seats.
Under the hood we have to find the electric motor that allows the model to swallow Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 secondsall with declared autonomy 700 kilometers thanks to the 56 kWh battery. The model will have rear-wheel drive, but an all-wheel drive version may be added to the catalog in the future.

Luxgen n7: price around 32,300 euros
Luxgen has already opened orders for its n7 SUV starting at around NT$1 million, equivalent toabout 32,300 euros. Foxconn has also announced that the Foxtron Model C will have more or less similar pricing to the Luxgen n7.
To reserve their Luxgen n7, customers are asked to make a deposit of 1,000 New Taiwan Dollars (about €32), and early customers will have access to several exclusive features, such as invitations to the model’s first test drives, as well asa new NFT.
Luxgen n7: first deliveries in 2023
Indeed, the Luxgen n7 is a modern and connected car that will be connected to a unique identity card, which will allow you to monitor the history of maintenance, purchase of spare parts, as well as accident records. Thus, it will make it possible to certify all these operations and facilitate the resale of the vehicle on the second-hand market.
The first deliveries of the Luxgen n7 are expected for the second half of 2023. Foxtron should also release its Model C by then: the two models could still compete in the EV market. Currently, two partners have not reported exports to Europe.
