The number of cases of COVID-19 in Romania is sharply decreasing after a wave of diseases from the end of July – the first half of August. If more than 57,000 cases were registered in the week from July 25 to 31, then in the last week – only a little more than 16,000 diseases. The authorities expect the decline to continue in the coming weeks under an optimistic scenario. The pessimistic scenario predicts stagnation in the number of cases, but not growth.
