  • “We collected documents for those who considered themselves above the law and conducted inflated tenders for hundreds of millions of lei to the detriment of the citizens of Sector 1.
  • The former administration made payments through the Education Units Administration, a structure that I abolished at the beginning of my mandate, an institution headed by people close to Marian Vangeli, through which hundreds of millions were illegally allocated to PSD and PNL private companies.
  • For example: a tablet with modest technical characteristics was sold for a huge price. And about 48,000 units were purchased. I stopped this situation and reported it to DNA,” Armand wrote on Facebook.

She claims that three new schools can be built in the sector with the money from the damages caused by the previous administrations.

Clotilde Armand also says that she has sent to all educational units under her administration and the Bucharest School Inspectorate the public procurement procedure that kindergartens, schools and secondary schools must follow, paying attention to the fact that it is not allowed to divide the contract into several different contracts of lower value and “calculation methods that lead to an underestimation of the estimated value will not be used.”
