Bayraktar TB2 drones, the stars of the war in Ukraine

The Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle is a medium-altitude long-range armed unmanned aerial vehicle designed specifically for strike and limited surveillance.

Drones were first introduced in Turkey in 2014, but have since been used in numerous operations and conflicts, including the 2020 Azerbaijan-Armenian conflict and the war in Ukraine.

TB2 drones with a flight range of more than 200 km and an endurance of about 27 hours at an altitude of more than 7 km can carry Turkish-made MAM-L and MAM-C missiles.

Turkish defense technology company Baykar has sold its Bayraktar TB2 military drone to Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Qatar and Libya.
