Omer Celik: He accuses Greece of “crossing the line”

The representative of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Omer Celik, accused Greece today of “crossing the line” and that its actions “have nothing to do with laws and justice.”

“Greece, having blocked the F-16s, maintained a hostile stance and crossed the borders. Greek actions in our airspace, in our maritime areas, as well as on demilitarized islands, have nothing to do with laws and justice,” said a spokesman for Erdogan’s faction, even warning that Greek movements “could lead to dangerous results.”

Ömer Celik, however, directed his “fire” against the French leadership, arguing that “Macron is focusing his country’s entire foreign policy on hostility against Turkey and Erdogan.”
