The pilot of the American low-cost company Southwest Airlines threatened to cancel the flight after a passenger sent a photo of a naked body to other passengers, CNN reports. The incident was captured on video and went viral on TikTok.
The incident took place during a flight from Houston, US, to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and the pilot at the helm of the plane warned that it would not take off if passengers continued to share nude images via Apple’s AirDrop service.
The incident involving Apple’s AirDrop file transfer service occurred on a flight from William P. Hobby Airport in Houston to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“Here’s the thing, if this goes on while we’re on the ground, I’m going to have to pull over to the gate, everybody’s going to have to get off, we’re going to have to call security and…your vacation is going to be ruined,” the pilot said.
“So you guys, whatever is going on with AirDrop, stop sending nude pics and let’s go to Cabo.”

Teiglor Marsalis, a passenger on the plane where the incident happened, told CNN that when she boarded the plane, she received a notification about some files being AirDroped, and that it was a nude photo of a man.
Another passenger was affected by the man sharing the blurry photo with him and notified the flight attendant, who in turn alerted the pilot.
“The safety, security and well-being of our customers and employees is always the highest priority of the Southwest team. When they are made aware of a potential problem, our employees resolve the issue to ensure the comfort of those who travel with us,” he said. Southwest Airlines in a release.
