We have entered the last month in which gas stations can voluntarily apply a discount of 50 baht per liter of gasoline and diesel fuel, a discount that is equally covered by the government and gas stations. After 2 months of the compensation scheme, prices are below July 1 prices, but diesel prices have also started to rise by 20 paise more than on August 10, when Prime Minister Chuke said the measures had reduced prices.
