Summer harvest of poetry.

The poetic “harvest” of the summer was interesting with new and noteworthy publications. A few days ago, the Rodakio publishing house published a children’s collection of poems “Sermin” by Tevfik Fikret, translated by Dimitris Chouliarakis, written in 1914 and considered a symbol of Turkey. The famous “The Raven” by Edgar Allan Poe was republished by Shakespearecon translated by Giorgos Alisanoglu in a bilingual edition with engravings by Gustav DorĂ©. The same publications publish “Exotic Views” by Margherita Papageorgiou. Among them is Niki Papatheocharis’ Any Stone That Wants to Claim Me collection by Sideri Publishing. A new collection of poems by award-winning Kyriakos Charalambidis “The Night of the Gardens”, published by Ikaros, stands apart.
