David Popovici (47.07 – competition record), Alexandra Constantinescu, Stefan Kozma and Patrick Sebastian Dinu finished the race with a time of 3:18.84.
Our athletes were followed by France (3:20.29) and Lithuania (3:20.41).

Vlad Stanka brought Romania’s first medal at the World Championships in Lima: silver in the 400 m freestyle.
Also, Issia Claudia Prisecariu (1:02.59 – the fourth time of the series) and Rebecca Amy Diaconescu (1:02.64 – the fifth performance) reached the final at the distance of 100 m backstroke (the medal match will take place on Thursday, from 03:23).
