
Vlad Stancu qualified for Tuesday’s 400m freestyle final on day one of the World Junior Swimming Championships in Lima.
Our athlete showed the third qualifying time (3:51.43).
Stanku took part in the sixth preliminary series, where he took the third place, beating the Brazilian Stefan Steverink (3:50.24) and the Turkish Batuhan Filiz (3:51.33).
The 400m freestyle final will take place on Thursday night at 2:02 Romanian time.
