
“Triangle of sadness“(“Triangle of Sorrow”), a Greek film co-produced by the director Ruben Ostlund (“To Tetragono”, “Anotera Via”), awarded the Palme d’Or at Cannes in May, is presented at the pan-Grenian premiere in Chiliadou, Evia, where a large part of the film was filmed in the summer of 2021. .
Show to be held Monday, September 5 2022, outdoors on Chiliados Beach, in the presence of multi-award winning Swedish director Östlund, is a co-organization of the 28th Athens International Film Festival Premier Nights, Feelgood Entertainment, Central Greece Region and production company Heretic.
The film sharply satirizes the decadent attitudes in contemporary capitalism in the West. Östlund introduces themes such as roles and social classes, and the film takes viewers from the luxury of a cruise to the hardships of survival in the wilderness.
The project features award-winning producers from Greece. George Carnavas as well as Constantinos Kontovrakis.
