
An armed attack involving a 12-year-old boy as the alleged perpetrator took place at a school in East Oakland, USA. The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. at Madison Park Academy. Officers who responded to reports of gunshots found a 13-year-old with gunshot wounds and another 12-year-old who tried to escape but was arrested.
According to ERT, the school, which had 750 students, was evacuated, and the 13-year-old was taken to the hospital, his condition is stable.

According to police chief L. Armstrong, the two boys are in school. Other details were not disclosed.
“It’s scary to think that a child comes to school with a gun. No parent wants to send their child to school and then be told they’ve been shot. There are too many guns on our streets and it’s only a matter of time before incidents like this occur,” he said, urging families to hand over their guns and “get them out of the hands of children.”
