The first episode of Meghan Markle’s Archetypes podcast series topped the Spotify charts in six markets worldwide, beating out even the world’s most popular podcaster, Joe Rogan.
With her close friend and tennis champion Serena Williams as the first guest, it hit #1 on the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand podcast charts.
In the premiere episode, Markle touched on the topic of “female ambition” and how it affects their lives.
“Personally, I don’t remember ever feeling the negative connotation of the word ambitious until I started dating my current husband. And, according to some, ambition is a terrible thing for a woman,” said the Duchess of Sussex.
Mariah Carey will be the next guest.
