Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Ukrainian defenders will repel the Russian invaders at the border and warned the military that “if they want to survive, it’s time to run away,” writes “Ukrainian Pravda”.

Zelenskyy noted that no one will say what the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are, and that it is time for the Russian military to flee or surrender, as they have begun an offensive in southern Ukraine.

  • “But the occupiers should know: we will drive them to the border. To our border, the line of which has not changed. The occupiers know this well.
  • If they want to survive, it is time for the Russian army to flee. Run home. If you are afraid to return home to Russia, then let such occupiers surrender, and we will guarantee them compliance with all norms of the Geneva Convention.”

Zelensky warned that if the occupiers do not heed his call, they will have to deal with Ukrainian defenders who “will not stop until they liberate everything that belongs to Ukraine.”

According to the president, the war began with the occupation of Crimea and Donbas and should end with their liberation.

Oleksiy Arestovych, an aide to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, said that Ukrainian troops, conducting a counteroffensive, broke through the defense of the Russian Federation in several sections of the front in the Kherson area.

He also reported that Ukrainian troops bombed the ferries that Moscow supplies to the territories occupied by Russia on the west bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.

A source in the Ukrainian military told CNN that Ukrainian forces recaptured four villages near the city of Kherson.

“The operation began at night with a massive bombardment of Russian positions and behind” Russian positions, said the source, whom CNN is not naming for security reasons.

“The main direction of the attack was on the village of Pravdyne. We hit their DNR and RPL infantry, and they ran away,” a source told CNN.

“Now we have liberated four villages. Their first line of defense was breached in three places,” a military source said.
