A huge blowtorch was seen in the waters of the northeast the Aegean sea.

According to the organization “Archipelago”, a giant mammal was seen in the sea between the islands of Chios, Ikaria and Samos, above the sea trench, the depth of which exceeds 1100 meters.

The pufferfish (Physeter macrocephalus) is the largest toothed whale on the planet with a female of 8-12 meters and a male of 16-18 meters and a weight of 24 and 57 tons, respectively. Service life is about 70 years.

Their population in the Mediterranean is less than 2,500 adults, and their presence in the Greek seas has been mentioned since ancient times, with impressive Aristotelian records for that time.
