
The child, who was injured after a decorative column fell on her from the hall of the capital city hall, has been discharged, representatives of the “Grigore Alexandrescu” hospital reported.
The 6-year-old child was discharged late last week, hospital officials said, citing News.ro.
The boy was hospitalized on August 22 in serious condition after one of the decorative columns placed at the entrance to the capital city hall fell on him on the plinth.
On August 24, the child, who was hospitalized in the intensive care unit, was operated on in the neurosurgery department.
The boy was with his father at the headquarters of the capital city hall.
In the pictures that appeared later, you can see how at one point the child climbed onto the base of the decorative column, from which he began to climb out, then easily broke away and fell on it.
Also, the capital police informed about the beginning of the investigation in this case.
