Two travel bags filled with hashish contained three people, one of whom was a minor, detained in the Kastoria region as part of an organized police operation.
Initially, the police identified the IXE with an underage driver and passengers aged 41 and 49, but when they tried to check them, the driver increased the speed. During the pursuit, the minor drove into the oncoming traffic, first collided head-on with a moving police car, and then, while reversing, collided with another police car, causing material damage to both police cars.
During a search of the car, it turned out that the criminals had travel bags with 21 packages of marijuana with a total weight of 31 kg, and the car had license plates belonging to another vehicle.
As the investigation continued, it was determined that the 49-year-old man was awaiting a decision by the Misdemeanor Council of Patras and a decision by the 4th three-member Misdemeanors Court of Athens.
The Narcotics Prosecutor’s Office of the Kastorian Security Sub-Directory has initiated a preliminary investigation into the case, and the detainees in the case brought against them will be taken to the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Kastoria.
