The women’s team of Romania suffered a decisive defeat against the team of Greece with a score of 24:3 in the second match of Group A of the European Championship in Split.

In the debut match, Romania lost to Germany on Saturday with a score of 10-15.

The group also included the national teams of Croatia, Hungary and the Netherlands. In the next game, the tricolors will meet Croatia on Tuesday at 18:30.

The four best teams from each of the two groups will advance to the quarterfinals.

Romania’s men’s team will make their European Championship debut, also in Croatia, on Monday in Group C alongside Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. The first match, against Spain, from 10.00.

The first places will go directly to the quarter-finals of the competition, and the teams that will take 2-3 places will play in the play-offs, also for entering the quarter-finals.
