Her government North Macedonia announced yesterday, Thursday, a state of emergency for the supply of electricity, which will take effect from September 1 throughout the country.
A widespread message says that the state of emergency will last 30 days and is related to the shortage observed in the electricity market.
Especially in the capital Skopje, the state of emergency also concerns the provision of heating amid a growing energy crisis.
The competent committee, which registers data on the supply of electricity and heat, will regularly monitor, analyze and evaluate the situation, as highlighted in the relevant announcement.
