Ministry of Justice USA issued an affidavit today outlining the reasons behind the recent investigation FBI at the residence of the former president Donald Trump in Floridawhere hundreds of secret documents were discovered and seized.

Federal Judge Bruce Rinehart ordered the Justice Department to issue a warrant, citing public interest in the unprecedented search of the former president’s home. However, at the same time, the judge granted the ministry’s request to remove entire paragraphs of the document in order to protect the ongoing investigation.
The ministry waited until the last minute, at 12:00 pm Washington time, to issue a warrant.
On August 8, the FBI raided Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago. Boxes containing classified documents were seized, which the former Republican president did not hand over after leaving the White House, despite repeated requests.
Entire paragraphs were deleted on 23 of the document’s 38 pages.
According to the warrant, an unnamed FBI agent said the National Archives found “secret documents” containing “defense information” when they received 15 boxes from Mar al-Lago in January. He added that the Justice Department has reason to believe there are other similar records in the Trump home that have not been returned to the government.
After a search in Mar-a-Lago, federal agents seized more than 20 boxes of documents, some of which were classified as top secret.
