This is the good news that many have been waiting for. The discount of 30 kopecks on fuel, which has been mentioned for several weeks, will really start to work, and it will start on September 1. What can please motorists, many of whom are still having great difficulty filling their tanks, despite the slight drop in prices. Moreover, if the amount of gasoline and diesel has fallen, it may not last. During two months

From this Thursday September 1 and until October 31, so motorists will be able to take advantage of a discount of 30 cents at all service stations in France. This measure was formalized on Tuesday by the publication of Decree No. 2022-1168 of August 22 in the Official Journal. To take advantage of this discount, it works the same as the 18 cents currently offered. This then replaces the allowance reserved for big rollers that the government has been talking about for some time. The latter, it seems, finally abandoned this idea. We will have to take advantage of this increase as it will drop to 10 cents on November 1st and disappear at the end of the year.

More stable prices

Despite the fact that fuel prices have risen sharply since the beginning of the year, sometimes exceeding 2.30 euros per liter, the situation is stabilizing. Admittedly, we’re a long way from the €1.40 seen after prison in 2020, but they’re still a bit more reasonable. It currently costs around €1.70 per liter of unleaded 95 E10, while diesel is slightly more expensive and averages over €1.80. But prices may increase slightly over the next few months, according to industry experts.
