Around 12:50 p.m. (local time), police received a call about gunshots at two different locations. When the police arrived there, they found two dead, and three injured people sought medical attention at nearby hospitals.
Authorities are looking for two suspects who exited a “small black SUV” and then fired semi-automatic weapons at bystanders, according to preliminary investigations. They then got into their car and drove away.
Local police spokesman Asan Benedict was talking at the time about an “open-air drug market.” He told reporters that security forces often patrol the area and make arrests for drug possession.
