Intervention of the prosecutor’s office Thessaloniki caused by the organization of an open religious event by the self-proclaimed “Church of Nations” a few days ago in the city center.

The prosecutor of the first district, Kyriaki Kleaba, ordered the security service of Thessaloniki to conduct a preliminary check to find out whether crimes related to proselytism, illegal occupation of public places and violation of public order had been committed.

According to published reports and videos, exorcism ceremonies took place in a public place in the center of Thessaloniki.

According to grtimes.gr, behind the statue of Venizelos, on two Sundays, one in July and one in August, an outdoor “church” was set up with chairs and a large screen showing videos from other ceremonies. What happened during the exorcism was shown on a large screen installed.
