
The leader installed by the Russians in the Ukrainian town of Mykhailivka in the Russian-controlled part of Zaporizhzhia region was killed on Tuesday by a car bomb, an official in the Russian-backed administration of the region said.
Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the Zaporizhia regional state administration, wrote in his Telegram channel that the head of the Mykhailiv region, Ivan Sushko, was seriously injured as a result of the explosion of a bomb planted under his car and died shortly afterwards in the hospital.
11,000 residents live in Mykhailivka.

This is the latest in a series of murders of officials established by Russia in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
