Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Representative of the House of Representatives and distinguished representative of the Greek American community John Sarbanes on Wednesday morning at Megaro Maximos.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister warmly thanked Mr. Sarbanes for his valuable contribution to supporting and advancing Greece’s position in the US decision-making centers, government sources say.

In addition, according to the same sources, it is common knowledge that Greece has become a pillar of stability, security and transportation hub in the wider region.

Finally, it was emphasized that bilateral relations between Greece and the United States are at a historically high level and that the strategic cooperation between the two sides has been significantly strengthened.
