Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that there will be no mercy for those responsible for the death of Daria Dugina, a Russian political columnist and daughter of the famous ultra-nationalist ideologue Oleksandr Dugin, CNN reports.

“I consider this a barbaric crime that should not be forgiven even by those who organized it,” Lavrov said on Tuesday at a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart.

“Now, as far as I understand, the FSB has already established the facts, which are currently being investigated. I hope that the investigation will be completed in the near future and after this investigation, of course, there will be no mercy for the organizers and those who ordered the murder,” he said.

According to the results of a two-day investigation, the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) accused Ukrainian special services of the murder of Daria Dugina. However, Ukraine denies any involvement, calling the FSB’s statements a fabrication.

29-year-old Daria Dugina, a journalist and political scientist, died on Saturday evening as a result of an explosion of the car she was driving on a road near Moscow. She was the daughter of Oleksandr Dugin (age 60), an ultra-nationalist philosopher and writer who promotes imperialist doctrine. Like her father, she openly supported the offensive of Russian troops in Ukraine.
