Zelensky warned that Russia, which invaded Ukraine on February 24, could try “something particularly nasty” ahead of Independence Day on Wednesday, which marks Ukraine’s break from Soviet rule.

Responding to a press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda, who is on a visit to Kyiv, about the possibility of a Russian missile attack on Kyiv, he said that there is a daily threat of shelling and that Ukrainian special services cooperate with foreign ones.

“Russia does this all the time. Can I increase the number of these strikes? Yes, I can do it on August 23 and 24,” Zelenskyy said.

“What will Ukraine do if they attack Kyiv? The same as now. Because for me, as for the president, and for every Ukrainian, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Donbas are the same. Ukrainians live there. Both in Kharkiv and Zaporozhye.” , – said Zelensky.

According to him, the response will be the same for any Ukrainian city that is attacked by Russia.

“If they hit us, they will get a response, a strong response. I mean that every day… this response will grow, it will become stronger and stronger,” Zelenskyy said.

Zelensky: The Ukrainian flag will fly again in Crimea

President Zelenskyi also stated that what started in Crimea will end in Crimea.
