
“Last Goodbye” Robert Williams said his family, friends and colleagues on Tuesday morning at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in downtown Athens.
A crowd of people gathered at the Anglican Church on Philellinon Street to say goodbye to the singer and composer, who “passed away” at the age of 73.
Robert Williams’ daughters, Ylenia and Martha, were dressed in white.
The “gift” was made by representatives of the political world, such as Labor Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, Attica Regional Governor Yorgos Patoulis and Vangelis Meimarakis.
Wreaths in memory of Robert Williams were sent by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Speaker of Parliament Kostas Tasoulas, New Democracy CEO Ioannis Bratakos and Secretary of the People’s Assembly, among others. Pavlos Marinakis.
Many people from the artistic world were also present, such as Paschalis, George Theofanous, Spyros Bibilas, Bessie Argyraki, Dimitris Ugarezos and others.
After the funeral procession, the singer will be cremated in a close family circle. According to his daughter Ilenia, instead of wreaths, the family wants to financially support the “World Ark”.
