
Big Fire It broke out around 5 pm on Sunday in Katakali, Corinthia, near the old Isthmus-Epidaurus national highway.
The forces on the ground have been strengthened: now there are 121 firefighters with 7 crews of infantry divisions, including 26 firefighters from Finland and Norway, 24 vehicles, 8 helicopters (including two coordination ones) and 13 aircraft. Volunteer firefighters and local water bodies provide membership.
The DI.PYN fire departments are on full alert. Corinthia, on the orders of the Chief of Police, a team from the Arson Control Authority (DAEE) travels to the area to investigate the cause of the fire.
As it became known from the operational headquarters of the fire department, the fire does not currently threaten the village, but a dense forest is burning south of the village.

Despite being out of danger, The Ranch was ordered to evacuate as a precaution.
According to the Corinthians, the firefighter lost consciousness and was taken by ambulance to the Corinthian hospital.
Traffic on the old national road has been stopped as the front of the fire is quite close to the road.
