The Center for Countering Disinformation said some municipalities have created alerts about chemical and radiation hazards through Ukraine’s Air Alert app for air raid alerts.
If until now people were warned about air raids with acoustic signals, now, against the background of nuclear blackmail from the Russian Federation, residents could be warned about chemical and radiation dangers, writes Unian. clean.
Chemical alarms will sound like church bells, radiation alarms like an alarm bell, and city evacuation alarms like a train horn.
“After such a notification, you should turn on the local radio or television and wait for additional information,” the Ukrainian authorities note.
The Center for Combating Disinformation also recalled that when an air raid warning is announced, a long continuous siren sounds for at least 30 seconds. Ukrainians are urged not to ignore alarms. During an alarm, you should immediately go to the nearest shelter and do not forget the rule of two walls and two exits.
