
Fifteen people died on Sunday as a result of a collision between a minibus and two trucks in the Russian region of Ulyanovsk (Volga), according to Russian press agencies, AFP reports, News.ro reports.
According to eyewitnesses cited by Russian agencies, near the village of Mykolaivka, the truck left the lane it was traveling on and collided with a minibus that was traveling along.
At the time of the accident, the minibus was hit from behind by another truck.

According to some images published by the Russian TV channel Ren TV, the minibus was almost completely trampled by two trucks.
As a result of the accident, 15 people died – all citizens of Kazakhstan, the rescue services reported, as quoted by the Russian news agency RIA Novosti.
Three more people – two men and one woman – were hospitalized in serious condition, the governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Oleksiy Ruskikh, said in a Telegram post.
Traffic violations are common in Russia, where several bloody bus accidents have occurred in recent years.
In January, five people died and 21 others were injured in a bus accident in Reazan region, about 270 kilometers south of Moscow.
In December 2019, a bus with about 40 passengers on board plunged into a frozen lake in the Transbaikal region of Siberia, killing 19 and injuring 21.
