
In the near future, the United States will present a new package of military assistance to Ukraine worth 775 million dollars (about 772 million euros), according to Friday, August 19, on the website of the US Department of Defense.
As specified in the message, as part of this package, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive additional ammunition for the HIMARS MLRS, sixteen 105 mm howitzers and 36 thousand artillery shells for them, fifteen ScanEagle reconnaissance drones, forty MaxxPro armored vehicles with my protection , HARM anti-radar missiles, TOW anti-tank missile systems, Javelin man portable anti-tank systems and other types of weapons.
According to a Pentagon spokesperson, consultations with the Ukrainian military will continue “to ensure we provide what they need, when they need it.”
Earlier, on August 8, it was reported that the United States would provide Ukraine with $1 billion in military assistance. More than $12.6 billion in security assistance has been provided to Ukraine since 2014, the Pentagon said.
