
Shares of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) will be included from September 19 in the FTSE Russell indices dedicated to emerging markets, the capital market operator reports.
BVB shares will be part of the FTSE Global Micro Cap.
The announcement made this evening by FTSE Russell also brings other news for Romanian companies present on its indices:
• Bittnet Group shares will be included again in the FTSE Micro Cap indices from September 19
• Impact shares will be excluded from the FTSE Global Micro Cap indices as the company’s total market capitalization exceeds the maximum threshold of the FTSE Micro Cap index
• shares of MedLife Romania and One United Properties will move from small to medium capitalization
• shares of Banca Transilvania, OMV Petrom and Nuclearelectrica Oficial will move from mid-cap to large-cap
Thus, as of September 19, Romania will have 13 companies included in the FTSE Russell indices dedicated to emerging markets, according to BVB.
