
At the end of 2020, the city authorities of Paris entrusted TotalEnergies with the management of a park of public charging stations for electric vehicles in the French capital for a period of 10 years.
This new network, which includes the Belib’ network and the old Autolib’ network, will eventually include 2,329 charging points, an increase of 56%. On this occasion, TotalEnergies announced the modernization of this equipment, as well as the arrival 10 fast charging hubs with a capacity of 50 kW in underground parking lots.
Belib’: fast charging hub in the underground parking lot
A little more than a year later, the first fast charging node in an underground car park has been put into operation in the center of Paris. This hub is within Lobau parking lot (SAGS), near the City Hall at 4thousand district of Paris
It has 7 slots for fast charging one Power 50 kW, including a place designated for people with reduced mobility. To ensure compatibility with most electric vehicles, there are connectors for Type 2, Combo CCS and CHAdeMO.

Belib’ charging hub: at what price?
On the price side, the Boost+ offer is billed 4.80 euros for a slice 15 minutes for visitors, and 4.40 euros for 15 minutes for subscribers. Several payment methods are available: bank card, Belib’ badge, TotalEnergies Fleet card or even mobile cards.
TotalEnergies specifies that the cost of parking during charging will be is automatically deducted from the invoice Belib’. Therefore, the customer will have to pay the amount of their parking in the public car park, up to €2.20 per 30 minutes, which will then be deducted from the Belib invoice.
Belib’: a growing network
This Belib fast charging hub is the first of a new series of hubs to open in underground car parks in Paris. This year, two more new hubs will be opened in the capital, at the St. Augustine parking lot (at 8thousand arrondissement) and the Port d’Autais parking lot (at 16thousand area).
By 2025, TotalEnergies plans to install 10 fast charging hubs in the Belib network, each of which will consist of 8-10 terminals with a capacity of 50 kW. Eventually the network will have 2329 charging points in total, including 270 charging points obtained from the Bélib network (with a capacity of 22 kVA and 3 kVA), 1,830 new standard charging points (with a capacity of 7 kVA) and 140 new charging points dedicated to motorized two-wheeled vehicles.
