Trade unions with TAROM say that negotiations on the conclusion of a new collective labor agreement at the subdivision level began on June 23, and the deadline for concluding the contract, agreed by the parties, expires on August 23.

  • “The negotiations were difficult, without reaching an agreement on the wage demands formulated by the United Tarom Trade Union (UTP),” the union representatives claim.

They also say that they have taken all measures to conclude a collective labor agreement, but so far the management of the company has not fulfilled any demand, except for the increase of the meal voucher from 10 to 30 lei.

According to them, at a meeting on August 16, TAROM presented a proposal that was deemed unacceptable by the TAROM-level KMS negotiating commission from the United TAROM trade union, given that the proposal does not cover, in some units, or at least inflation for 2022 of 15% .
