A 25-year-old woman who allegedly committed the act out of romantic jealousy has been charged with attempted murder, carrying a weapon, and using a weapon.
The 25-year-old woman followed the 27-year-old woman on her way home and stabbed her in the stomach and shoulder with a sharp object, according to a police statement.
The victim fled for help to her sister’s house, which was located in an alley, and the perpetrator was seen at the scene by fleeing police officers, to whom she confessed her act.
