The Minister of Ecology announced that work is underway on a new program to stimulate the purchase of electric vehicles, intended for cars in the commercial sector. The Rabla Plus program for commercial fleets should be launched in 2023 and will allow the purchase of vehicles designed for the transportation of people and goods.
“It is obvious that not only personal cars pollute, but also vehicles designed for the transportation of people and goods. That is why we come to support economic agents in Romania with a program dedicated to electric and hybrid vehicles in the commercial sector. We are working on impact studies and market analysis together with representatives of car manufacturers and importers and will launch Rabla Plus for commercial fleets in 2023,” said Minister Barna Tanchos.
In several countries in Western Europe, there are large fleets of electric vans used by courier services or delivery companies, but the use of these vehicles is hampered by the fact that the range is reduced.
