The 27-year-old son of Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone will play on loan at Napoli, with his new team also having the option of a permanent move after the 2022-23 season.
This option could become mandatory next year for 12 million euros, depending on certain conditions, Italian media reports.
With this transfer, Giovanni Simeone will have the opportunity to participate in European competitions for the first time, as Napoli directly qualify for the Champions League groups.
