Sorana Kirstea has a tough new opponent in Cincinnati after beating Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic (11th WTA – Tokyo Olympic champion) 6-2, (3)6-7, 6-4 on Tuesday.
In the second round, she will meet Petra Kvitova (28 WTA). The game will be broadcast live on Digisport 2 on Wednesday at 18:00 with the first leg at the Porsche Arena.
Kudermetova, who is ranked 20th in the world, has lost all three matches against Simona so far.
The match between Halep and Kudermetova will be the second on Wednesday on Court 3 in the women’s draw and will start no earlier than 01:30 (Romanian time). Live broadcast of the match on Digisport 2.
