Emma Reducanu beat Serena Williams in a no-hitter in the first round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati. After the match, the British woman dedicated a post on Instagram to the winner of 23 Grand Slam tournaments throughout her career.
Serena managed to win only four games, the American lost the second set to zero (bagel): 6-4, 6-0 in favor of the British.
Emma will face Victoria Azarenka (22 WTA) in the second round in Cincinnati.

Emma Reducanu sent a quick message to Serena Williams on Instagram after beating her in Cincinnati.
“I’m glad to share this land with you, Serena” – Emma Radukanu.
Almost 41 years old (which she will celebrate on September 26), Serena Williams will say goodbye to sports competitions after the US Open 2022.
After the defeat with Redukan, Serena did not want to make any statements (as well as after the failure in Toronto).
The American woman was absent at the press conference, and also did not want to speak on the field, where she was approached for an interview.
