A total of 38,945 new cases of COVID-19 and 164 deaths were registered in Romania in the last week, Adriana Pistole, State Secretary of the Ministry of Health, said at a press conference on Tuesday.

“There is a downward trend. The downward trend is obvious,” State Secretary Adriana Pistol said. The decline is likely to be seen even more clearly in the coming weeks if this trend continues, says Adriana Pistole.

“We especially appreciate all those people who followed the measures we recommended – people who wore masks in public transport, in supermarkets. This behavior contributed to this downward trend. In this way, we can avoid our illness and the illness of others,” says Adriana Pistole.
