A 20-year-old driver hit three people who were trying to cross the street on DN 1 in the Movila Vulpiy district, Prahova County. A man died, a woman was unconscious, and a three-year-old girl was injured, iPJ Prahova reports, citing news.ro.
ISU and IPJ Prahova intervene on Monday evening in a traffic accident on DN 1, in the city of Păuleşti, district of Movila Vulpii, in the direction of Brasov to Ploiesti.
According to preliminary information, the car hit three pedestrians.
ISU Prahova clarifies that a man died, a woman was unconscious, and a child was injured.
“After the first checks, it became clear that a car driven by a 20-year-old man, moving along DN1, would have surprised and injured 3 pedestrians who were crossing the roadway. A 44-year-old man died. Other pedestrians: a 38-year-old woman and an 11-year-old minor are being treated on the spot,” the police said.
Traffic in the area of the accident is blocked.
