OUR Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and his Secretary General UN António Guterres spoke by phone today about the security of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which is under the control of the Russian army in southern Ukraine, where the plant was bombed.
“Sergey Shoigu held telephone conversations with UN Secretary-General António Guterres regarding the conditions for the safe operation of the Zaporizhzhya NPP,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
During the conversation, Shoigu and Guterres also discussed initiatives to ease the conditions for the export of Russian food and fertilizers, the Russian ministry added.
