According to the cited source, the 409 new cases reported in the last 24 hours are among reinfected patients who tested positive more than 90 days after the first illness.

The most new cases of COVID in Bucharest – 476 and in the counties of Cluj – 190, Bacău – 120, Brasov – 112, Ilfov – 109. The highest incidence is in Bucharest – 7.67 and in the counties: Cluj – 7, 24, Sibiu – 6.31 , Timis – 6.28, Ilfov – 6.21, Brasov – 5.91, Constanta – 5.45.

In the last day, 9 deaths among patients with COVID (men) were registered. Out of 9 deaths, one was registered in the age category of 50-59 years, three in the age category of 60-69 years, two in the age category of 70-79 years and three in the age category over 80 years.

According to the Ministry of Health, all the deceased patients had concomitant diseases, four were vaccinated against COVID. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 66,357 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died in Romania.
